Emergencies

If you have a medical emergency or feel that you are in labor outside of regular office hours, we ask that you contact our answering service at (919) 571-1040. The physician on call will contact you within 15 minutes of your call. If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

Appointments or Questions

Please call (919) 571-1040 to schedule an appointment, request a "work-in" visit (which can usually be accommodated same-day for established patients) or to speak with our advice nurse. If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please notify the office at least 24 hours in advance. Please visit our Patient Center for New Patient Information and Medical Forms.

Prescription Refills

If you are an established patient and need a prescription refill, please have your pharmacy fax in a Prescription Refill Form to (919) 781-0247 during normal office hours. We are no longer able to accept phone-in requests. If you are in need of a new prescription, please contact our office at (919) 571-1040 and ask to speak to the triage nurse who will communicate your request to your doctor.

Location and Directions

Wilkerson Obstetrics and Gynecology is located next to the Rex Family Birth Center in the Rex Medical Plaza Building at 4414 Lake Boone Trail in Raleigh. Free onsite parking is available.

• From I-440 take the Lake Boone Trail/Rex Hospital exit (Exit 5).
• Turn right onto Lake Boone Trail and proceed to the Rex Hospital Main Entrance.
  Please note: the Google Map below mislabels the entry to the Rex Wellness Center and Rex Rehab (and the back entry to the Medical Plaza Building) as "Still Forest Place". The correct name is "Rex Way".
• Turn right at stoplight (just past the fire station) onto Rexwoods Drive.
• Take the 1st right at sign for Rex Birth Center/Medical Plaza at Rex.
• The parking deck entrance will be your 1st right. Park in the deck and follow the crosswalk to the Medical Plaza Building.
• Proceed through sliding glass doors. Wilkerson OB-GYN is the first office on the left.
